Balakrishna finds the opponent of Kodali Nani

Upon the assurance from Nandamuri Balakrishna, former MLA Raavi Venkaswara Rao who quit TDP before before 2009 General elections is all to join the party in the presence of Chandrababu Naidu on Monday.

Raavi won as an MLA from Gudiwada constituency. Even his father Shobhanaadri was elected as legislator twice from the same constituency. So, Raavi's family have a strong foothold in Gudiwada. Upset with Chandrababu's decision to gave the party ticket for the second consecutive time to Kodali Nani in 2009 polls due to pressure mounted by Jr NTR, Raavi resigned from TDP and joined Praja Rajyam Party floated by Chiranjeevi.

Kodali Nani's exit from TDP has opened doors for Raavi. Balayya's word assuring the Gudiwada party ticket in 2014 polls if comes back to the parent party has done wonders. TDP leaders were appreciating the initiative taken by Balakrishna in bringing back a strong leader like Raavi to the party.

Raavi's entry will boost the morale of TDP workers in Gudiwada. With Raavi in field and Balayya taking Gudiwada constituency as a prestige issue, the victory in 2014 will not be a cake walk for Kodali Nani.
