Vallabhaneni Vamsi back in Action
Jr NTR's close aide and Vijayawada TDP Urban president Vallabhaneni Vamsi who was lying low for sometime now has chosen to fight on the farmers issue.This is to regain the support of people and party workers who were unhappy with his friend and business partner 'Kodali Nani' shifting loyalties to YS Jagan.
Vamsi filed an implead petition on the PIL filed by Telangana leaders seeking the orders to stop the release of water from Nagarjuna Sagar and Srisailam to Krishna delta. He accused the state government of falling to come out with facts although the PIL filed by Telanganites came up for hearing in High Court thrice. "Around 13 lakh acres of land in four districts were in desperate need of water. The situation gets worse if the stay on the release of water wasn't lifted," he stressed.
With Vamsi's petition, the state government will have no option other than explaining the current situation in the High Court. It's clearly evident that this young leader is trying to grow as a strong force in the Krishna district TDP after Nani choose to join the YSR Congress party. His chances will depend how he co-ordinates with the party workers and also the support of people definitely matters.
