Chiru ruined his chances of becoming NO.1
CPI state secretary Narayana made some interesting comments responding to Rajya Sabha member Chiranjeevi's induction into Union Cabinet.
Narayana opined that the actor-turned-politician has played spoilsport by merging PRP with Congress. "Chiru floated PRP as an alternative to both ruling Congress and Opposition TDP. If not the merger with Congress, he would have been in a much better position by now and the ministry will be nothing before that! Chiru ruined his chances of becoming a power centre and No.1 in politics," he stressed.
Congress leaders, cadre and the fans were hopeful that Chiru's induction will give a new lease of life to the party. What would be the use of this Tourism Minister for AP and it's people is a million dollar question? Political analysts say, the next 18 months will be the last chance for Chiru to prove his mettle as a politician and to make people believe that he is committed for the betterment of AP.
