Liquor Baron happy for His Downfall
Liquor Baron Vijay Mallya might be the only person on earth to declare that he is happy for his downfall. What prompted him to make such comments? Is it out of frustration or realization?
Recently, Forbes Magazine has declared that the Kingfisher Airlines chief has lost the billionaire tag with total assets worth $800 million (about Rs 4,285 crore) and is now raked 73rd in the list of 100 Richest People in India. Notably, Mallya was at 49th place in the list last year with assets worth $1.1 billion.
Responding to stats, Mallya commented,"Thanks to the Almighty that Forbes has removed me from the so called Billionaires list. Less jealousy, less frenzy and wrongful attacks".
Mallya was often referred as 'King of Good Times' till few back, but he will be no more addressed alike as the Kingfisher crisis is getting deeper. It would be nice to see him regaining his lost glory again!
