Minister's Rs 50 Crore Girlfriend!
Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi has a style of his own in taking potshots at opponents. The other day, he targetted MP Shashi Tharoor who was inducted back into the cabinet in the last and final cabinet reshuffle of UPA 2.
Modi called Shashi Tharoor's girlfriend and now his wife Sunanda Pushkar a Rs 50-crore Girlfriend. "Shashi Tharoor who was a union minister amassed illegal wealth from cricket. However, he denied that in Parliament and even said he is not connected to the Rs 50 crore in Sunanda Pushkar's name," he attacked at an election rally in Gujarat.
"Wah kya Girlfriend hai. Apne kabhi dekha hai Rs 50 crore ka Girlfriend? (What a Girlfriend! Have you ever seen a Rs 50-crore Girlfriend?)," he added.
Shashi Tharoor who was once sacked as union minister for his controversial comments is yet to respond on Modi's hard-hitting remarks. May be he doesn't want to lose the job for the same old reason.
