Man arrested over LA Halloween shooting

Police in Los Angeles say they have arrested a man suspected of shooting at least four people at a university Halloween party.
Witnesses reported a "mob of people" fleeing from the main campus building in the moments after the shooting.
The University of Southern California shut down the campus and urged students to stay indoors while they hunted the gunman.
One victim is believed to have suffered critical wounds to the stomach while several others suffered minor injuries.
An officer with the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed there had been a shooting on campus and said four people had been taken to hospital, but could not immediately provide further details.
The university said on its website that a suspect was in custody following the shooting, which occurred late Wednesday evening local time.
The campus emergency website urged students to stay away from the area, citing an "ongoing police investigation".
The LA Times reported that "several" people were shot at a Halloween party on the campus.
The private university in Los Angeles has more than 38,000 students and boasts the largest number of international students of any US university.
