India Shining! 100th Mission Is Huge Success

At the time when the whole country is sinking with the scams, soaring prices and sponsored violence, there is this space agency that makes us proud and makes our head rise above all. The 35 year old Indian space agency, ISRO, got some proud moment for every Indian yet again.

ISRO, has finally blasted their 100th mission, PSLV-C21 into sky today and successfully placed three satellites in their destined orbits. Triggering a huge round of applause from all sorts of sections in India, the four stage PSLV roared into skies and into space marking the 100th mission of Indian Space Research Organisation today morning at 9.53 am from Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. Till date, 62 Indian satellites and 37 rockets have been launched by ISRO and today's mission adds to the hundred, and the first one is satellite Aryabhatta in 1975.

'India is justly proud of its space scientist who have created history for India in space', says PM Manmohan who has witnessed the lifting of PSLV-C21 live. With today's launch of French and Japan satellites, India became the most sought after commercial launcher for many countries, who are now running after ISRO to launch their satellites at a price.
