It's Official: Kodali Nani is now a YSRC Leader
Gudiwada MLA Kodali Nani has officially joined the YSR Congress party on Wednesday in the presence of party honorary president YS Vijayamma at a public meeting held in Pamarru of Krishna district. Another TDP leader Uppuleti Kalpana who contested from Pamarru constituency in 2009 polls and lost to her opponent too became a member of YSR Congress Today.
It may be recalled that TDP suspended Kodali Nani from the party after his meeting with YS Vijayamma few days ago. Later, Nani met Jagan in Chanchaguda prison during the mulaqat time and expressed his willingness to join YSRC. He even made some harsh remarks against TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu at that time accusing him of backstabbing NTR, selling Rajya Sabha seats for Rs 300 crores and ditching Nandamuri family.
Balakrishna stepped into action to bring back the lost glory of the party in Krishna district. He even succeeded in bringing back former MLA Raavi Venkateswara Rao into TDP to defeat Nani in 2014 polls. A tough fight between TDP and YSRC is expected in Gudiwada polls this time.
