Head Constable Kidnaps SP, Releases
In a latest development in the state, which we can call Revolution-2020, a suspended head constable kidnapped a Superintendent Of Police (SP). He has held the SP captive in a shop and threatened to kill him and immolate himself to petrol if shutters are opened forcibly. Finally, it is a regular Telugu cinema climax with a twist.
G Sharma, a suspended police constable took senior office, SP Lakshmi Narayana of PTO (Police Transport Organisation) hostage this evening and threatened to kill him and sacrifice his life too if shutters are opened forcibly. Senior officers rushed to spot, while home minister and DGP came on line to speak with Sharma on phone that is sent into shop through the shutter. Sharma's demands include allocation of 100 crores to PTO and calling applications to fill mechanic and driver posts. DGP Dinesh Reddy's assurance for demands made by Sharma has finally helped Lakshmi Narayana to come out. The SP is sent to undisclosed location for medical check-up while Sharma is taken into police custody.
Twist is that Sharma has not made any personal demands, except asking to look into the matter of an SP who is harassing him. All his demands are for the betterment of police department.
