YSR's brother-in-law gets 2 weeks Jail Term

Former Kadapa Mayor and YS Rajasekhar Reddy's brother-in-law Ravindranath Reddy landed in trouble. He was sentenced to two weeks imprisonment by the High Court on Monday for not appearing to the court proceedings.

The court has directed Ravindranath Reddy to attend the proceedings in connection with a case filed against him, but the leader didn't turn up despite the orders asking him to present there personally. The case came up for hearing Today and the judge expressed anger as this comes under the contempt of court and passed orders of issuing two weeks jail term to the leader. However, the court has given a chance for Ravindranath Reddy by giving him four weeks time to appeal the judgement of the court.

Ravindranath Reddy who played an active role in Kadapa politics during YSR's regime was maintaining a low-profile after the sudden demise of Maha Neta in a chopper crash. He might play a key role in the YSR Congress party in the 2014 polls to see Jagan as the chief minister of AP.
