150 YSR Statues in ChandraBabu's Home Town
Everything is set for installing as many as 150 statues of former chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy in TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu's home town Chandragiri of Chitoor district.
Chandragiri YSR Congress party in-charge Chevireddy Bhaskar is the man behind this 150 statues idea. The statues were unveiled at the party office in Hyderabad Today and the YSR Congress leaders have appreciated the initiative taken by Chevireddy. All these idols will be installed in each of the 150 villages in the Chandragiri constiuency.
Choosing Chandragiri for this massive campaign has become a hot topic in the political circles. Mr. Naidu was the one who opposed the 1 lakh statue campaign initiated by YS Jagan as part of his controversial Odarpu Yatra after the sudden demise of YSR in a chopper crash. Now, taking that campaign to Chandragiri is tit-for-tat act by YSR Congress leaders. How TDP would react to this campaign is to be seen!
