Who Will Take Rayapati In?
Once again MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao is going to repeat his blackmailing politics as he was denied TTD chairman post by CM Kiran. He is going to meet Sonia on this row before taking up a decision on his future.
Earlier, when Rayapati is denied a TTD Chairman or high profile post, the MP used to send feelers that he is going to quit Congress. This time, his followers are forcing him to say goodbye to Congress as high command is constantly ignoring him of nominated posts too. But Rayapati made it clear to his followers that his next move will be decided only after his meet with Sonia Gandhi.
If at all Rayapati signs out of the 125 year old party, who is going to take him in now, TDP or YSR-C? Analysts say that sulking nature of Rayapati is making parties think twice before taking him in. Fitted enough with leaders who can turn caste based vote-banks towards them, both these parties may or may not come to the rescue of this MP, says an analyst.
