Dasari Denies CBI Questioning Him

Coal Scam is not giving proper sleep for ruling Congress at centre and for former Union Minister of State for Coal, Dasari Narayana Rao. With CBI jumping into the scene, the veteran director is tumbling before blaming the electronic media.

Reports have that CBI is raiding more than five companies at the moment in 10 cities and 30 places before registering cases on them in connection with alleged scam of allocation of coal mines. Media reports from the state indicated that Dasari was questioned at his Moinabad guest house today morning by CBI officials. However, the former minister has sent a press-note to media saying that no one questioned him about allocation of Coal Blocks and cried foul about 'guest house' episode.

CBI has already filed FIR on five companies that acquired coal blocks in Jharkhand, Chattisgarh and against some government officials slapping them for cheating and suppression of facts.

The investigation agency has already conducted three months internal probe into the scam before spreading its claws today. Insiders are saying that JD Lakshmi Narayana will probe this case too. Then, it is a tough time for Congress again.
