Kanna Babu confusion: Headache for Chiru Camp
Kakinada rural MLA K Kanna Babu (PRP) and Yalamanchili MLA UV Ramanamurthy Raju alias Kanna Babu has become a big talk in political circles. The allegations against Yalamanchili MLA has turned out to be a big headache for Chiru camp.
As both the MLAs are referred with the names Kanna Babu, there is a lot of confusion. Whenever Media runs a story on Kanna Babu addressing him as ruling party MLA, the first thing that comes to everyone's mind is PRP MLA but not the tainted legislator.
ACB has recently filed cases against Yalamanchili MLA for misusing government funds meant for the poor people and amassing huge wealth using his power. He was also in news for allegedly threatening to kill a realtor in Visakhapatnam for not selling a 40-acre farm land to him.
MLA Kanna Babu is getting a lot of calls these days enquiring about cases registered by ACB and the realtor issue. Chiru camp MLAs are irked with the developments as people misunderstanding that their colleague was corrupt could damage the image of their leader. So, they are now chalking out plans to come out of this embarrassing situation!
