MLCs call CM Kiran a Liar
Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy's comments on Teacher MLCs in his Indiramma Baata speech has stirred a controversy. He advised the MLCs to work in the direction to bring reforms in Educational System, instead of focussing on personal gains. "We have as many as 9 MLCs. They will always approach me for personal benefits like increments, promotions and etc., I asked these 9 MLCs to give a blue print with suggestions to change the current Educational System so that both students and teachers will be benefitted. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any such blue print until now," he accused.
Even the MLCs who were upset with the accusations of CM Kiran responded with a harsh tone. "There is no truth in the CM Kiran Kumar Reddy's statement that he asked us to submit a blue print to bring reforms in Educational System. CM should reveal to which MLC he ordered to submit the blue print? Although we met CM Kiran several times asking him to implement the Right To Education Act in an effective manner, he didn't respond in a proper way," shot back Teacher MLCs.
CM Kiran landed himself in trouble with his loose talk. So, the next time he delivers a speech he should focus on facts rather than taking it as an opportunity to throw the blame on others.
