Samsung Galaxy S3 outsells iPhone 4S
According to an analyst from BusinessInsider, the iPhone 4S has been outsold by Samsungs’s flagship device last month in the United States on 3 of the 4 major carriers. The only service provider to sell more iPhone’s than SIII’s is AT&T, Apple’s bosom-buddy.
This is the first time the 4S has been defeated in sales since October 2011. Michael Walkey fromCanaccord Genuity discovered that the iPhone’s crown had been taken by apparently conducting ‘channel checks’.
Don’t expect this Android supremacy to last for too long, however, as Apple is expected to release its next gen iPhone in less than two weeks, as invites have just been sent for its – previously only rumored – September 12th event.
