Why Chandrababu Naidu's Dharna In New Delhi?
Opposing the diesel price hike, PM's decision on FDI and restricting number of Gas Cylinders to families, a nationwide Bandh is called for and except Congress, everyone is taking part in it. Surprisingly, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is protesting in Delhi, while his party members are doing it in Hyderabad. Is there any reason for this?
Allies of UPA including Samajwadi and DMK joined hands with Naidu to protest in Delhi against the ruling government. Others like CPI, CPM, BJP, RSC and other forward block parties too joined hands, while BSP, Trinamool and Sivasena stayed away. Political analysts are saying that Naidu is rewriting brains in Delhi if at all this Congress led UPA falls down and a third front or NDA has to lead. With Bandh becoming a huge success everywhere as every business institution has voluntarily joined their voice, Naidu is quickly cashing on the developments in Delhi. Reports have that Naidu is giving a colour of his party's hard efforts for achieving this complete shutdown. Indeed this will project TDP into a big frame if a new government is formed, and the Andhra leader will play a key role in Centre politics too.
Mamta Banerjee, on the other hand has cooled down a little it seems and Chidambaram is playing the trouble shooter for UPA to settle issues with Trinamool Congress. Let us see where Naidu's day dreams will go!
