"Would have been in Jail if I had been with YSR"
Former minister and TDP vice-president Maganti Babu attributed the present unfavorable situation in the state to former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy accusing him of breaking laws for the quid-pro-quo deals and scams to built his business empire.
"I would have been in Chanchanguda jail by now, if I had done everything he ordered when I served as minister in his cabinet. As I hadn't co-operated for his plans to amass illegal wealth, he sacked me from his cabinet. It's has become a blessing in disguise for me, or else I might have faced the same fate of other Congress ministers. YSR used his ministers like a pawn in his hands to build Jagan's business empire," he alleged.
Maganti Babu resigned from Congress and joined TDP just before the last General elections. He is playing active role in the party since then and grown as a prominent leader in TDP.
