Kavuri's Cry Became Lady Minister's Loss?
The huge cry made by Congress senior MP Kavuri Sambasiva Rao has indirectly taken toll at Minister Purandareswari it seems. The loyalty card played by Kavuri has made high-command to take a backseat on our minister, say reports.
In fact, Sonia Gandhi is keen to push Purandareswari as an Union Minister and even Prime Minister Manmohan called her to congratulate about the same thing. However, Cong high-command shocked all by promoting Pallam Raju and halting our lady minister. More than crying for missing out a post, Kavuri is said to be unhappy for Purandareswari getting a post though both hail from same 'Kamma' community.
Analysts say that this move of Cong has also given a coloring that Congress is ignoring Kamma leaders and promoting Kapu base in the party. This might also take a toll on vote-bank politics in 2014. But all this is just a speculation of media, says another Congress veteran, who is just crying for missing out a post in this last expansion of cabinet before general elections.
