Yuvraj: This MoM award is very special to me

Yuvraj Singh after his match winning effort against South Africa in the Super Eight match that earned him the man of the match award said that he will like to dedicate the award to all the cancer patients of the world and his mom as she has always been with him.

Yuvraj Said, “This award is very special for me, I will dedicate this to all the cancer patients in the the world and will like to tell them that if I can do this so can you all. I will dedicate this to my mother as well because she has been with me always.”

There were a lot of talks that Yuvraj’s selection was more of an emotional decision, on that Yuvraj said, “Yes, I know that people said that I shouldn’t be in the Indian team and I am happy that I answered them. I bowled well and got some wickets, with the bat I couldn’t do well and I will continue to work hard for that.”

India despite of winning the match could not qualify for the semis, on that Yuvraj Said, “Yeah, it is a pretty disappointing feeling. We won four matches out of five but still couldn’t qualify. Even Pakistan and Australia won four out of five, they qualified we didn’t, the format is very unpredictable and we are disappointed.”

On how his body is shaping up, Yuvraj said, “I need a bit of time, I will go back and will pay in domestic matches, I need time on the crease and T20 cricket does not provide that. I will take one game at a time and will keep practicing. I hope I can get better with every game.”
