'Baazi' to 'Talaash': When Aamir Khan played a policeman in Bollywood
Aamir Khan will be seen playing a cop in suspense thriller 'Talaash'.
Directed by Reema Kagti, the film shows Aamir yet again in the avatar of a cop. Despite Aamir's third attempt at playing a policeman in films, Mr. Perfectionist is able to bring something new to the table with his each performance.
'Talaash' is one of the most anticipated films of the year due to its star cast.
In 'Talaash', Aamir will be seen investigating a murder mystery.
Aamir was last seen as a cop in 1999 film 'Sarfarosh'. The actor played ACP Ajay Singh Rathore who is on a mission to fight against illegal arm dealing in the country.
Known for his intense acting, Aamir did complete justice to the role of a policeman in the film.
The film made Aamir win Filmfare Award for Best Critic Actor. The melodious songs were also a high point of the film.
Aamir's performance as a determined police officer was applauded by the audience.
Aamir's association with the cop roles began back in 1995, when director Ashutosh Gowarikar offered him the role of Inspector Amar Damjee in 'Baazi'.
In order to find the man behind the multi-crore scam, Inspector Damjee plans to go undercover as a woman.
The film turned out to be a superhit at the box-office.
Aamir's performance in the film was much appreciated by the audience.
