Botsa Daughter Marriage caught National attention
PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana's daughter marriage ceremony in Vizianagaram has bought National attention. The big fat wedding of medical student Anusha and Somi, who owns a realtor group is nothing short of any other ceremony which took place in the Country till date.
Reports say, around 700 constables, 120 sub-inspectors, 35 DSPs, Revenue and Municipal department officials have played their part to make the wedding ceremony a grand success and also to enter into the good books of state Congress chief. A renowned art director who worked for several big ticket films has designed the wedding set and the dias itself has costed a whopping Rs 1 crore. All the five-star hotels and about 300 cars have been booked for the guests which were around 80,000. Flowers have been imported from Singapore.
A lot of criticism also has been coming Botsa's way for misusing his power. The 300 taxi drivers were forced to cancel their previous bookings for the wedding and even then, they were paid just 1/4 of amount they charge normally. Despite seviour power shortage, Botsa has preferred a lavish wedding. Government employees have been deployed to look after the guests and security arrangements.
