CM may be back in office on Monday:
Chief minister Sheila Dikshit is recovering fast and is likely to join office full-time by Monday. The chief minister underwent an angioplasty procedure on Tuesday following blockage in one of her arteries.
“She is recovering fast and was moving a little today. She is likely to be discharged from the hospital tomorrow,” said Dr Ashok Seth, chairman of Cardiac Sciences at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, where the chief minister was treated.
The chief minister performed important office tasks from her hospital room on Wednesday also. “She was transferred to private ward yesterday itself and has been making good progress. She can work from home for a few days. I expect she can join full-time work and office by Monday,” said Dr Seth.
