Innovative marketing strategy for Life of Pi
After Life of Pi being promoted in India by director Ang Lee in a grand way, the makers decided to take up a Diwali theme for campaigning the film in a unique way during the festive season.
With so many different and innovative marketing themes, the makers went a step ahead to prove the unique marketing strategy. With the film's release nearing on November 23, they put up lanterns, rangolis, monumental building lights and Diwali facade lights across the country, in various multiplexes.
Life of Pi which has an Indian appeal given to it by film-maker Ang Lee sees Suraj Sharma, Tabu and Irrfan Khan as part of the star cast.
This Hollywood film is the first of its kind to expose Indian talent, globally.
