Kavitha Cries Foul On Andhra MP
Telangana Jagruthi leader K Kavitha is crying foul on Andhra MP from Guntur, Rayapati Sambasiva Rao. This is regarding the issuance of Polavaram tenders and she says that it is an act of consoling the MP by Congress party.
'As MP Rayapati was not given any Union Ministry post in the recent cabinet expansion, his company Transstroy (an Indian Russian company amalgam) is now given Polavaram dam construction tender', said K Kavitha. She accused that MP Rayapati has not mentioned this company name as his property in election affidavit. Kavitha says that in the first place, Polavaram's design should be changed which otherwise her group will not allow the construction of dam.
Politics are one place where lots of funny things happen. When a person related to TRS Chief KCR was awarded Polavaram contract, Congress made an issue. When an outer was given the tender, TDP MP who owns a construction company made an issue of it. Now, when Congress MP got the tender, TRS is making issue. So, when will we build Polavaram that servers our state farmers? Why not our government itself starts a separate 'Polavaram Construction Department' to finish off this project?
