Nagam hints joining BJP
Former TDP leader and independent MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy made it clear that he will be supporting the NDA in the next general elections as he strongly believes that only this BJP-led alliance could pave the wave for Telangana formation. On the other hand, he expressed that Congress-led UPA will no way take the decision on the bifurcation of state. "Telangana state is only possible if NDA comes to power. So I will support this alliance in next elections for the dream of Telanagana," he asserted.
BJP state president Kishan Reddy declared that he would welcome Nagam into party if he wants to join hands with them. Even BJP leaders extended their support to Nagam who would be launching a tour named 'Telangana Bharosa Yatra' across the region demanding the statehood. All these developments are indicating that this senior politician is about too join BJP in the near future and will also take the reigns of the party.
Nagam resigned from TDP in protest to party chief's two-eye theory regarding the statehood issue and later won the by poll from Nagar Kurnool as an independent. As all is not well between Nagam and KCR, this former TDP leader is unlikely to join TRS. So, the only option left for him is BJP which is also fighting for Telangana cause.
