Black Paper: Arvind Kejriwal shifts focus to Maharashtra

Arvind Kejriwal ready with Black paper

Shifting his focus to Maharashtra activist Arvind Kejriwal is ready to take on the state rulers with Black Paper on the irrigation scam.

Only on Thursday the state had submitted white paper washing away all the misdeeds committed during past decades in the name of irrigation in the state of Maharashtra. Readers can recall that NCP strong man and nephew of Sharad Pawar, Mr Ajit Pawar had to resign on this very issue.

Kejriwal has taken the fight right to the nerve centre to Roha which happens to be the home of present Irrigation Minister Sunil Tatkare. It was Tatkare, an NCP Minister who had got the white paper prepared absolving all the wrong-doers.

Associates of the Kejriwal say that the nexus of politicians, bureaucrats and contractors is  obvious in the black paper which is said to contain in graphic details the modus operandi employed by the vested interest to loot the state.

The earlier exposes of the Kejriwal team had been quite successful in driving home the points- be it against Robert Vadra , Mukesh Ambani or Salman Khurshid. Critic may find fault with his hit and run tactic but not with the truth of his expose.

“But such scams are common and anybody angling at the top slot should not get lost in the regional fights; his energy would sap”, a few political Pundits reacted at Arvind Kejriwal’s wandering to the lanes of Maharashtra.
