Instagram App disables Twitter photo integration:

Popular photo sharing app Instagram has reportedly disabled the feature that allows Twitter to properly display its photos. Although Instagram photos can still be shared on Twitter, they no longer display correctly.
This because the company, which was purchased by Facebook, disabled its integration with Twitter cards, the feature that ensures media content is displayed directly in the Twitter timeline, The Telegraphreports.
According to the paper, Instagram photos now appear too large for the space provided on Twitter and are cropped as a result. In a status update on its website, Twitter said that 'users are experiencing issues with viewing Instagram photos on Twitter.
"This is due to Instagram disabling its Twitter cards integration, and as a result, photos are being displayed using a pre-cards experience," the micro blogging site added.
According to the paper, the move shows the growing rivalry between Twitter and Instagram. By disabling Twitter cards, Instagram will force Twitter users to click through to its site to see the entire image, the paper added.
