Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor will start against the Chargers on Sunday night. He was absence for the Week 4 game against the Redskins after suffering a mild concussion.
The Raiders also announced that Matt Flynn was demoted to the third-string quarterback in favor of Matt McGloin. It's hard to believe Flynn threw for six touchdowns in Week 17 of the 2011 season and now his career is in major trouble since he can't get the ball out on time.
As for Pryor, he's made significant strides in his second season. He has a very respectable 7.7 yards per attempt in his three starts while leading all quarterbacks in rushing yards per game.
Fantasy impact: If Pryor was let go in your league, you might want to give him a look. He is starting to get on the same page with his receivers and is armed with a nice schedule. This week, he gets the Chargers, a team that ranks 30th in total defense. He's a high-upside QB2 and could be useful for those who have Robert Griffin III on a bye.
