AP Becoming Paradise Of Political Widows
High command's decision on Telangana will make many politicians in the state deprived of power and neither people nor parties will give them a chance again. More likely ruling Congress party will get a maximum hammering and this is their worry.
Firstly, if CM Kiran is stripped off power, then chances are very thin for him to become a minister again in Congress. For life he will be just settling as an MLA becoming a political widow. If T-state is given, Seemandhra MPs like Lagadapati and Kavuri will lose their credibility before facing the wrath of people. If T is not declared, Cong T-MPs like Madhu Yashki, Ponnam Prabhakar and TDP leaders like Errabelli and Motkupalli will fail to win votes again. Congress veteran D Srinnivas and ex-speaker Suresh Reddy are best examples of these political widows. On a whole AP politics is travelling towards a black hole that axes people from developing and leaders from powers.
Like Konda Laxman Bapuji said, we have to sit and solve the issues rather fighting in assemblies and Delhi streets. Though it will not benefit people in the first place, but at least our politicians will not become political widows then.
