Shirtless Protest Disrupts PM Manmohan
Prime Minister Manmohan stood mute with the shock he received while he was about to address an international conference in New Delhi. A man disrupted his speech by going shirtless and shouting anti-government slogans.
PM is about to address a Conference on Economic Growth in Asia at Delhi Vignaan bhavanand there raised this Bihar based lawyer, climbed onto the bench and shouted slogans 'PM Go back'. He stated that government failed in controlling the soaring diesel prices and stripped off his shirt to protest. PM's special security officers got alerted immediately and took him into custody. Reports have that this person is a lawyer who practices in Supreme Court.
After getting stunned for a while, PM continued his speech on economic reforms, corporate laws and the role of judiciary in company laws and their implementation in Asia. But Congress sources are taking the incident seriously as such acts will insult the country before ambassadors of other countries.
